D’ailleurs concernant Memorabilia ( à mon avis thomas le sait) mais pour les autres, il y a un effet caché.
Il faut zoomer sur les lettres (tout à gauche, environ au milieu), puis dans le timbre de la lettre la plus à gauche.
Une fois sur lui, zoomer sur l’image en 2ème colonne 3ème ligne. Ensuite zoomer au milieu sur l’image sous le panneau Hard Rock pour voir les 4 petites statuettes des Beattles !

@Alfonso: How can you make that an assumption? As we all know the company Windows has a strict policy of keeping their products closed-source. For all we know they could be writing MSNPhotoweb in Haskell, C++ or another exotic language nobody uses. I will explain to you why: compilers translate programs from a “source language” like Visual Basic to a “target language” that is more legible for computers. This is not a bijective process so you cannot revert it. The target language is usually something _really_ complicated like C or Assemblers. The main reason for doing that is that these languages make extensive use of curly brackets and therefore they are much less difficult to parse and can be run much faster. This is also the reason why fancy languages like Python and Ruby are so slow — they do not provide those brackets and the computer has to figure out the structure all by himself. I hope I made it more clear to you, if not, don’t hesitate to ask.

Et concernant MSNPhotoshop. Il n’est pas écrit en VB 6.0.
S’il l’avait décompilé correctement, il aurait peut compris qu’il se trompe.

@steve.ballmer: It clearly is NOT stolen from Microsoft, as Tandem is written in Macromedia Flash. If you’re smart, you could write a decompiler for MSNPhotoweb which is presumably written in Visual Basic 6.0 and translate it to Action Scripts, but I think it would be highly difficult. As Action Scripts has curly brackets, you’d have to replace all those ENDs with brackets, therefore you’d even have to know regular expressions, etc. It would not take me by surprise if the algorithm for solving this was in the family of NP Complete problems (which we all know cannot be solved deterministically, i.e. using a computer). I really wish people would use their mind before posting.

Thomas: en fait Tandem n’emprunte pas à Deepzoom, même s’ils ont des concepts similaires. Il fonctionne avec Flash (et Deepzoom avec Silverlight), et la structure du zooming est très différente.
Pour zoomer en HD en flash, il y a Zoomorama (disclosure : j’en suis dir marketing), qui permet de créer un widget flash zoomable avec photos hd et vidéos.

Très fluide en effet. Ca a le vent en poupe ce genre d’applis depuis que piclens est sorti. Récemment je suis tombé sur http://www.picsviewr.com qui propose plusieurs type de visualisations des photos d’un utilisateur flickr. Bon certaines des visu sont carrément pas tip top mais dans l’ensemble ça reste marrant.

Je serai curieux de voir combien de temps va tenir sa clé API aussi

Cette technologie est emprunté à Microsoft…

Je l’ai vu au REMIX08 à Paris.

Ca s’appelle DEEP ZOOM, et ça permet de comme son nom l’indique de Zoomer mais sur des photos en HD.

La démonstration au REMIX était d’ailleurs impressionnante.

DEEPZOOM fonctionne avec SylverLight, et on peut voir son rendu sur ce site:

DEEPZOOM est encore beaucoup plus fluide, et le lien au dessus ne rend pas entièrement justice car les photos ne sont pas toute en HD.
