Rapleaf, l’outil de gestion de votre réputation, vient de lancer un nouveau service du nom de Upscoop qui rejoint un certain nombre de startups (comme ProfileLinker et Wink par exemple) en essayant d’ajouter une nouvelle couche de donnée aux réseaux sociaux existants. Il y a en effet beaucoup de réseaux et beaucoup sont inscrits à plus d’un service. Il n’est pas simple de suivre votre propre réseau.
Upscoop est conçu pour vous aider à savoir à quel réseau vos amis sont inscrits sur la base de leur adresse email. Vous saisissez vos identifiants emails (dont le mot de passe) AOL, Gmail, Hotmail et Yahoo. Upscoop récupère votre liste de contacts et démarre une recherche sur tous les réseaux sociaux en essayant de rapatrier leurs profiles respectifs parmi les 10 millions qu’ils ont indexés. Attention le résultat n’est pas immédiat – cela prend quelques heures.
En cliquant sur un résultat vous accédez à la page du profile de la personne de votre choix. Et vous pouvez alors l’ajouter comme ami ou interagir avec.
Demander aux utilisateurs leurs identifiants emails complets pour utiliser le service va certainement freiner beaucoup d’utilisateurs. Mais il est vrai que c’est beaucoup plus simple que de les chercher un à un sur Wink. Pour les accros du networking ce pourrait être un outil indispensable.
C’est surtout un bon moyen pour rapleaf de se constituer une base d’email rapidemment, tu crois pas ?
Oui connaissant Auren le CEO, je suis a peu pres certain que c etait son idee.
Pour l’instant il semble impossible de se “connecter” avec une adresse gmail. Ca doit être un bug, mais il m’affirme que ce n’est pas le bon password.
Pareil pour moi avec Gmail :
